Code of Conduct for Part Timers
The standards expected of every part-timer using the platform. This Code forms part of our Terms of Use.

1. Purpose
This Code of Conduct sets out the standards expected of all Part Timers using the JobsThrough platform. It is intended to promote a safe, professional and trustworthy environment for Employers and Part Timers.
This Code forms part of the JobsThrough Terms of Use. Failure to comply with this Code may result in warnings, suspension or permanent removal from the Platform.
2. Professional Conduct
Part Timers are expected to:
- communicate respectfully and professionally with Employers and other users
- behave courteously at all times
- perform work to the best of their abilities
- follow reasonable workplace instructions provided by the Employer
- avoid conduct that may damage the reputation of JobsThrough or the Employer.
3. Honesty and Accuracy
Part Timers must ensure that all information provided on the Platform is truthful and accurate, including personal details, qualifications, certifications, work experience, availability and skills.
Part Timers must not:
- impersonate another individual
- submit false documents
- exaggerate qualifications
- misrepresent their identity or experience.
4. Attendance and Reliability
Once a Part Timer accepts or is confirmed for a job, they are expected to honour that commitment.
Part Timers should:
- arrive punctually
- complete the agreed working hours
- notify the Employer as early as reasonably possible if unforeseen circumstances prevent attendance.
Repeated no-shows, late cancellations or failure to attend confirmed jobs may affect future opportunities and may result in restrictions on Platform access.
5. QR Attendance
Where QR Attendance is used, Part Timers must:
- scan in and out personally
- record attendance truthfully
- ensure attendance is only recorded when physically present at the workplace.
Part Timers must never:
- scan attendance on behalf of another person
- allow another person to use their account
- falsify attendance records
- manipulate attendance data.
Attendance fraud is considered a serious breach of this Code.
6. Workplace Behaviour
While working, Part Timers should follow workplace safety procedures, respect workplace policies, behave professionally towards customers and colleagues, and avoid disruptive, abusive or aggressive behaviour.
JobsThrough is not responsible for supervising work performed at the workplace.
7. Respect and Inclusion
Users must treat everyone with dignity and respect.
Part Timers must not engage in harassment, bullying, discrimination, intimidation, abusive language or threatening behaviour.
8. Privacy and Confidentiality
Part Timers may become aware of confidential information belonging to Employers or customers.
Such information must not be copied, shared, published, used for personal benefit or disclosed without proper authorisation.
This obligation continues even after a job has ended.
9. Messaging and Communications
The JobsThrough messaging system must only be used for legitimate work-related communication.
Users must not:
- send spam
- send offensive content
- harass other users
- transmit malicious software
- impersonate another person.
10. Use of the Platform
Part Timers must use the Platform responsibly.
Users must not:
- create fake accounts
- share accounts
- attempt to bypass Platform security
- scrape or harvest Platform information
- use bots or automated software
- interfere with the normal operation of the Platform.
11. Advertisements
The Platform may display advertisements or promotional content that are visible to all users.
Part Timers acknowledge that:
- advertisements are provided by third-party advertisers
- advertisements may contain links to external websites or services
- JobsThrough does not verify or endorse every advertisement displayed
- interactions with advertisers or external websites are undertaken at the user's own discretion and risk.
Users should exercise appropriate caution before engaging with any advertisement or external website.
12. Payments
JobsThrough does not process salary or wage payments.
Employers remain solely responsible for paying Part Timers.
If payment disputes arise, Part Timers should first communicate directly with the Employer. JobsThrough may, at its discretion, review available Platform records to assist users in understanding Platform activity but is not responsible for resolving payment disputes.
13. Compliance with Laws
Part Timers are responsible for complying with all applicable laws and regulations relating to the work they perform.
Users must not use the Platform for unlawful purposes.
14. Reporting Concerns
Users are encouraged to report:
- fraudulent activity
- attendance fraud
- unsafe workplaces
- harassment
- technical issues
- suspected scams
- other serious misconduct.
Reports should be made through the official JobsThrough support channels.
15. Enforcement
Where JobsThrough reasonably believes that this Code has been breached, it may take appropriate action, including:
- issuing warnings
- removing content
- restricting Platform features
- suspending Accounts
- permanently terminating Accounts
- reporting unlawful conduct to the relevant authorities where appropriate.
JobsThrough will determine appropriate action having regard to the seriousness and frequency of the conduct.
16. Changes to this Code
JobsThrough may amend this Code of Conduct from time to time.
Continued use of the Platform after any updated version becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Code.
